Corporate & Legal Compliance
We operate with full legal standing and transparency within the Republic of Indonesia.
- Legal Entity: We are a fully registered Indonesian limited liability company (Perseroan Terbatas – PT) under the umbrella of our parent company, Juara Holding Group.
- Tourism Operator License: We hold a valid Tour and Travel Business License (Surat Izin Usaha Pariwisata – SIUP / Tanda Daftar Usaha Pariwisata – TDUP) issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Ministry of Tourism). This license is mandatory for legal tour operations in Indonesia.
- Tax Compliance: We are a registered taxpayer with a unique Taxpayer Identification Number (Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak – NPWP) and are fully compliant with all national and regional tax regulations.
- Employee Welfare: In accordance with Indonesian labor law, all our permanent staff are registered for and contribute to the national social security program (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and the national health insurance program (BPJS Kesehatan).
Operational Safety Standards
Aviation Safety
All air travel is managed to the highest safety standards. We only partner with airlines and charter operators (like Garuda Indonesia and Susi Air) that hold a valid Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). For private charters, we conduct our own audits of aircraft maintenance records and crew qualifications. All flight plans are professionally filed with AirNav Indonesia.
Marine Safety
Our partner yachts and Phinisi schooners exceed local and international safety requirements. Each vessel is:
- Fully Licensed & Inspected: Registered and regularly inspected by the local Port Authority (KSOP – Kantor Syahbandar dan Otoritas Pelabuhan).
- Equipped with Modern Safety Gear: This includes SOLAS-grade life rafts, Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB), satellite phones, GPS, radar, and comprehensive first aid kits with medical oxygen.
- Professionally Crewed: Captains and engineers are fully certified, and our dive guides are, at minimum, PADI Divemasters with emergency first response training.
Land Transportation Safety
All vehicles used for guest transport are modern, regularly serviced, and equipped with seatbelts for all passengers. Drivers are professionally licensed, have passed defensive driving courses, and are trained in basic first aid. For remote overland journeys, vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking and satellite communication devices.
Health & Emergency Protocols
Medical Preparedness
Every expedition is led by guides certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. We carry a comprehensive expedition medical kit that exceeds standard requirements. We maintain a detailed list of each client’s medical history and dietary needs (with their permission) to ensure proper preparation.
Emergency Evacuation Plan
We have a standing agreement with a global leader in medical and travel security services, such as International SOS. This ensures that in the event of a serious medical emergency, we can activate a medically supervised evacuation to a top-tier international hospital in a major hub like Jakarta or Singapore.
24/7 Communication
Our field teams are equipped with satellite phones and GPS messaging devices (e.g., Garmin inReach) that allow for two-way communication and location tracking, regardless of cellular service availability. Our operations base in Ternate is manned 24/7 during all client trips.
